Evaluation: Introduction

For my A2 artefacts I chose to construct a music video, digipak and magazine advert. I chose this option specifically because I thought they would allow me to build on my work that I completed for my foundation portfolio last year. The music video gave me the opportunity to experiment with video but in a completely different style to the thriller opening sequence that I made last year. The two ancillary texts being print based were a new challenge for me as I had very limited experience in using programs like photoshop. But after researching existing products and experimenting with the software and producing two not very convincing first drafts, I managed to come up with two artefacts I'm very happy with.
